Creamy Chocolate Fudge

                                          Chocolate Fudge

If you ask about my choice I would prefer cookies; chocolate chip cookie and chocolate chip muffin more than fudge because of its thick texture. This recipe you do not need the candy thermometer to check the temperature, it’s the simplest no-fail recipe to make fudge with minimum or no appliances.

Prep Time: 10minutes

Cook Time: 20minutes

Total Time: 30minutes

Yield: 150pieces

Ingredients for Chocolate Fudge:

1 ½ cups white sugar

1 jar marshmallow cream (substitute with heavy cream)

2/3 cup condensed milk

1/4 cup butter

2 cups milk chocolate chips

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip

1/2 cup chopped nuts

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

Take an 8x8 square pan, line with aluminum foil and butter the foil, put aside. Put the marshmallow cream in a large saucepan cook over the medium flame, combine the condensed milk, sugar, butter, and salt. Cook to bring a boil stirring continuously, cook for additional 5 minutes more.

Remove the saucepan from heat and add milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, stir until chips melt well, and becoming smooth, incorporate properly. Add in nuts and vanilla extract mix well. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan.

Chill for 2hour in the refrigerator or more until firm. Turn the fudge out onto a cutting board, peel off the foil and turn the fudge up-side-down cut in the equal pieces, you can store them for a week or 10 days keep them in an airtight container at room temperature. You can make them more delici

ous by dipping them in the melted chocolate or white chocolate would be the best experiment with fudge.

Note: put the marshmallow cream in the microwave for 15 seconds before adding to the saucepan, the amount of butter is perfect no need to add more also do not substitute the butte with any other fat it makes huge difference in taste. Boil the mixture for about 7 minutes, it will assure the fudge to solidify.

Stirring continuously over the low heat to prevent grainy texture and make sure sugar is completely dissolved. The ratio of sugar is fine, not less or more than that, the ratio of milk chips can be changed; 2cups of semi-sweet chocolate chip and 1 cup of milk chocolate chip will make your fudge richer and you will make it again and again. Do not make the fudge in the rainy season or humid weather condition it will make it difficult to set the fudge well.
